ALAND secure landmark Gosford mixed-use site, The Archibald

ALAND are proud to announce the purchase of landmark central Gosford DA-approved mixed-use site, The Archibald.

The significant 5,656sqm site at 108-118 Mann Street in Gosford, around 76km north of the Sydney CBD, which includes DA approval for dual tower development have now settled contracts.

Named after Archibald Acheson, the second Earl of Gosford, The Archibald will be a one-of-a-kind offering on the Central Coast with easy access to the region’s beautiful beaches and convenient amenities.

The site boasts triple-frontage to Mann, Donnison and Baker Streets in the Gosford CBD, which will benefit from $42 million in state government funding to upgrade vital infrastructure in the city centre.

This is in addition to the University of Newcastle’s proposed $18 million Gosford campus on Mann Street. Announced recently, the university and state and federal governments plan to establish a new health and business innovation campus in the centre of the city.

The site is conveniently located close to Gosford’s waterfront, as well as close to the Gosford Train Station, Gosford TAFE, and the Central Coast Stadium.

“We’re delighted to have secured the property and look forward to taking the plans for the project forward to deliver a fantastic new addition to the Gosford skyline. We have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the city, and we’re excited to get this project underway,”

ALAND Head of Development, Ryan Lane said that depending upon pre-sales, ALAND expects construction to start in the fourth quarter of this year and confirmed it would largely stick to the Dickson Rothschild architectural design, approved in 2019.

This month, the New South Wales State Government pledged to match federal funding for the fast-rail Gosford-to-Sydney link, which will reduce travel time between the two cities to 25 minutes.

Subject to planning, ALAND expect the sales launch to take place in the spring and for construction to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.

ALAND has more than 1200 dwellings under construction at any one time, delivering projects every quarter.

CEO George Tadrosse said “We’re delighted to have secured the property and look forward to taking the plans for the project forward to deliver a fantastic new addition to the Gosford skyline. We have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the city, and we’re excited to get this project underway,”
