New senior hires bolster ALAND’s leadership team
Industry leading construction and property development company ALAND has reinforced its leadership team with two significant new hires, as the company realises its ambitions of becoming a leader in Sydney’s residential property landscape.
Property finance specialist Paul Ottaway has been appointed ALAND’s new funding director, while former Lendlease regional development manager Ryan Lane has been appointed the company’s new head of development.
“We’re pleased to be welcoming Ryan and Paul – two industry heavyweights – to the leadership team, particularly at a time when we have some significant developments in the pipeline,” said ALAND chief executive George Tadrosse.
Mr Ottaway joins ALAND from investment firm Wingate, where he was the company’s executive director of property finance, for New South Wales. Prior to that, Mr Ottaway held senior management positions with specialist property finance companies, including at Investec Bank as Queensland director of property finance.
New development head Mr Lane was named National Young Leader of the Year by the Property Council of Australia in 2017 for his successful management and delivery of multiple retirement living communities. The property council praised his capacity to build relationships with residents while managing various development approval processes with local councils.
In his new role at ALAND, Mr Lane will be responsible for leading delivery of all current and future projects.
“I’m pleased to have joined a leadership team with such a stellar reputation in the building and construction industry,” Mr Lane said of his appointment.
