Paramount on Parkes wins at the Urban Taskforce Awards!

We are proud to announce that on 26 June, ALAND’s flagship residential project, Paramount on Parkes, was named WINNER of High Rise Metro Development at the prestigious Urban Taskforce 2025 Development Excellence Awards, held at Doltone House Hyde Park.
Located at 20 Parkes Street, Harris Park, within Parramatta CBD and just 400 metres from Parramatta Station, Paramount on Parkes is a striking 46-storey mixed-use tower featuring 331 architect-designed apartments, a ground‑floor retail precinct, and over 3,000sqm of premium commercial space.
This latest accolade follows Paramount’s recognition as Best Mixed-Use Development in Australia at the 2023 Asia Pacific International Property Awards, reaffirming its outstanding architectural design, premium amenities, and sustainability credentials.
The project, meticulously planned and constructed over several years, embodies ALAND’s commitment to delivering high-quality urban living environments.
Residents enjoy exclusive access to a podium-level swimming pool, a children’s play area, lush gardens, and communal spaces, fostering a sense of community.
ALAND Founder and Owner, Andrew Hrsto, expressed immense pride in the development, which plays an important role in addressing Sydney’s housing needs.
“Paramount on Parkes is a symbol of ALAND’s enduring commitment to providing much-needed housing in Parramatta CBD and Greater Sydney,” Mr Hrsto said.
As one of NSW’s fastest-growing regions, Parramatta is set to receive $20 billion in public and private investment over the next five years, with its population expected to double to 400,000 by 2036. The city is fast emerging as a hub for higher education, medical research, and several high-tech industries.
“With its blend of residential apartments, ground-floor retail, and commercial spaces, Paramount illustrates our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of this community,” Mr Hrsto added. “It is also a landmark achievement in ALAND’s own journey.”
Paramount on Parkes stands as a defining project in Parramatta’s transformation, setting a new benchmark for mixed-use developments in Greater Sydney.
