Parramatta’s Newest Landmark Is Nearing Completion

Three years after the first concrete was poured, the final touches are being made to Paramount on Parkes, ALAND’s glittering new residential and commercial tower that now dominates the Parramatta skyline.

Located at 14-20 Parkes Street, Harris Park, just 400 metres from Parramatta Station, this mixed-use development consists of ground floor retail, 331 apartments and over 3,000sqm of premium commercial space

Paramount was named Best Mixed-Use Development in Australia at the prestigious 2023 Asia Pacific International Property Awards for its exceptional design and commitment to architectural excellence.

With its sophisticated architectural design, premium amenities, and commitment to sustainability, the building redefines contemporary urban living in Parramatta, with a selection of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments.

The project is the result of many years of meticulous planning and construction, reflecting ALAND dedication to creating exceptional residential environments.

Key features of the project include architect-designed residences, a podium-level swimming pool, a children’s play area, lush gardens and generous communal spaces.

ALAND Founder and Owner Andrew Hrsto says that as a western Sydney local he is immensely proud of new 46-storey tower, which contains 331 apartments and six floors of commercial space.

“Paramount is a symbol of ALAND’s enduring commitment to providing much needed housing in Paramatta CBD and Western Sydney,” he said.

Mr Hrsto paid tribute to the 5,000-strong workforce that had laboured for long hours on the 156-metre-high tower, plus ALAND’s many suppliers and sub-contractors.

Parramatta is one of the state’s fastest growing regions, with $20 billion in private and public investment pledged over the next five years. The population is expected to double to 400,000 by 2036.

Mr Hrsto says Paramount on Parkes is a symbol of Parramatta’s growing economic power as a centre for higher education, medical research and various high-tech industries.

“With its blend of residential apartments, ground floor retail and commercial spaces this building illustrates our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of this community,” he said. “It is also a landmark achievement in ALAND’s own journey.”

Parramatta, already known as a thriving centre for higher education, medical research and business innovation, is fast becoming the lifestyle capital of Greater Western Sydney.

Westfield Parramatta is one of Sydney’s best shopping experiences, while the city’s Eat Street is a top destination for foodies. Over the coming months the city will welcome several new attractions including Riverside Theatres, the Powerhouse Museum and Parramatta Quay.

One of Australia’s best-connected cities, Parramatta is expanding its transport options with the addition of the Metro West network and a new Light Rail link between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park.

ALAND is offering potential buyers the chance to inspect two display apartments for themselves, so that they can experience the open-plan design, high-quality finishes and superb workmanship first-hand.

The two display apartments have been specially prepared by our design partners at Coco Republic and MCM House — each apartment features the latest Fisher & Paykel appliances.

During your tour of the glittering new tower, you will also be able to see the recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and kids’ play area, located on the podium level. Tours are by appointment only.
